Description The Homebound is a unique dessert beer that pushes the boundaries of styles. A Ryewine (barleywine with a gigantic percentage of rye) meets specialty coffee! The brewers used no less than three different single origin coffees from Keen Coffee. By fermenting with an IPA yeast strain, the fruity aromas of the coffee are elevated even further. The result is a warming, full beer to quietly enjoy.

Taste Description The beer pours deep dark copper to brown. The aroma is amazingly layered: you immediately smell a fruity melange of strawberry, raspberry, peach, and blackberry, interwoven with notes of black tea and soft toffee. On the palate, the addition of 33% rye provides a full, warming body full of hints of cinnamon and caramel. The light fruitiness keeps the beer surprisingly smooth and drinkable.
